Lorenc Malellari, MD obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at Seton Hall University in New Jersey. He was awarded numerous scholarships and graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors.

Dr. Malellari, MD received his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (aka Rutgers – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School). His residency training in general surgery was completed at New York Medical College, Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York. He continued his postgraduate training with a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at University of California at Irvine with a focus in advanced minimally invasive techniques, including TAMIS, Laparoscopic and Robotic surgical procedures.

Lorenc Malellari, MD is double Board Certified in General Surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He is currently practicing in California and is Medical Director of the S.A. Camp Companies Robotic Surgical Center.

Dr. Malellari, MD was born in Pogradec, Albania and moved to the United States with his family in the early 2000s. He takes a serious commitment as a member of the Albanian American Medical Society and is focused in supporting the educational programs of the organization, especially in colorectal cancer screening and raising awareness in the community.
