Ermelinda was born in Vlora, Albania and moved to USA in 1998. She completed undergraduate studies at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI from where she graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. At the same time, held a position as a Physical Therapy Technician and was also actively involved in various volunteer services. Further in her education, entered the Duke University Physician Assistant program where she graduated with a Master's degree in Health Sciences in 2011. Upon graduation, she joined the Columbia Presbyterian Hospitalist group where she aspires to broaden and advance her medical knowledge and goals. Her career interests include general and surgical medicine. Ermelinda looks forward to being involved within the Albanian community and delightfully offers her assistance with the Society's necessities and requests.
