Erion Qaja, DO received his doctor of osteopathy degree from the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. He completed residency training in general surgery at  Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He then pursued his postgraduate training in vascular surgery at Hartford Hospital, University of Connecticut at the Cardiovascular program.  

Erion Qaja, DO joined in August 2020 the medical practices of Nuvance Health’s Division of Vascular Surgery in the Poughkeepsie, NY. He has participated in numerous research projects and has been published multiple times in major medical journals. He is an advocate of advising in student levels and investing the intellectual property in the young generations.

Erion Qaja, DO has been a member of Albanian American Medical Society since year 2014 while in residency training. He took immediate interest in mentoring and guiding members and community in making educated decisions towards their medical care and/or education.  He is born in Korca, Albania and immigrated in young age in the states with his family. His hobbies are traveling and spending time with his family.
