Aurora Shehu Wingrove, MD, PhD earned her dual doctor degree in medicine and Physiology with Biophysics at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She was awarded Ervin Ernos Award for Excellence in the Basic Sciences and Outstanding Dissertation Award in Life Sciences. She completed the internship in internal medicine at the University of Chicago, Northshore Healthcare System, where she received the Service Value Award. Her residency training in dermatology was completed at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center program in Pittsburgh, PA.
Aurora Shehu Wingrove, MD, PhD, is committed to delivering the highest level of care to her patients in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She places strong emphasis on continuing education and building relationships with each patient as she treats skin, hair and nails conditions.
Aurora Shehu Wingrove, MD, PhD specializes in adult and pediatric dermatology, including skin cancer screening, prevention and treatment, acne, eczema, psoriasis, immunobullous diseases, vitiligo, surgical dermatology. She has an interest in cosmetic dermatology, including BOTOX, Dysport and fillers.
Aurora Shehu Wingrove, MD, PhD is dermatology board certified and a member of American Academy of Dermatology, Women’s Dermatologic Society, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and Albanian American Medical Society in which she joined as a medical student and continued to support its mission throughout the years. She is excited to serve as Board Member and raise the awareness of skin cancer prevention and screening among Albanian community in diaspora.
Aurora Shehu Wingrove, MD, PhD is from Tirana, Albania and came in the states during high school studies. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her immediate and extended family, traveling, cooking and biking.
